Transport Infrastructure Ireland is committed to:
- Maintaining an accessible website
- Ensuring that this website achieves “Level AA” conformance to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, to comply with the National Disability Authority’s Code of Practice on Accessibility of Public Services and Information Provided by Public Bodies

Compliance status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. TII is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1.
Non-accessible content
We are in the process of improving the following elements of the website. The below table identifies the current areas of non-compliances. We plan to fix the issues by April 2022.

| Text is clipped when resized | Visitors with low vision may not be able to access information if text is clipped (cut off) when scaled up. | Visitors should be able to scale text to 200% without losing any information. |
| Colour contrast is not sufficient | WCAG requires a minimum colour contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 for normal text, and 3:1 for large text (18pt and above, or 14pt bold). | Text that is too faint can cause problems for users who are colour blind or have low vision. |
Content that’s not within the scope of the accessibility regulations
- The accessibility regulations do not require us to fix PDFs or other documents published before 23rd September 2018 if they’re not essential to providing our services. We are working to ensure that all essential downloadable resources meet accessibility regulations.
